This bed borders the north edge of Wade and Jodi's driveway. In the middle is a lovely sugartyme crab (Malus "Sugartyme"). It is surrounded by boxwood (Boxus sp.) and Periwinkle vine (Vinca minor).
The "hardscape" consists of split-rail fence, wagon wheel rims, an old spade and a "double shovel" which was once used to plow our good friends, grandfather's fields here in Danville.
(Oh, the pickup in the background is Wade's pride and joy [don't make fun of it!]. It's a '79 Chevy Scottsdale that originally belonged to Wade's Papaw Gib aka. Paco.)
