Shade Garden
In the summer of 2002, Wade was becoming very much bitten by the Gardening Bug (other bugs too!). He looked out the bedroom window one morning and realized that his view was primarily an old fence row filled with Mulitflora Rose (Rosa floribunda), mulberry trees, wild raspberries and weeds (See the "before" picture below).

After deciding that a more "groomed" view would be approriate, he set off to create a shade garden. In the morning, the sun rests on this garden for a couple of hours and then it's in shade the rest of the day. Now each morning, he wakes to the view of the sun in the shade garden. What a great way to start the day!
